Jewish Community

Since its founding, the Koret Foundation has been rooted in the Jewish community, and its grantmaking reflects that commitment today. Our Initiative on Jewish Peoplehood encourages engagement in Jewish life and has energized the cultural scene – from museums and Jewish Community Centers to college campuses and family services. Our Initiative to Combat Anti-Semitism is advancing the discussion about this sensitive issue at universities, in public policy, and the media. We also support economic development, research, and education in Israel, viewing the Middle East’s only democracy as a vital partner for U.S. security interests. Joseph Koret cared deeply about his Jewish culture and heritage, and his values continue to thrive through our funding strategies both locally and abroad.
